These can be seen on the Dutch tv-series 'Van onschatbare waarde'. Goedaert was the first one to describe the metamorphosis of insects. This set is also the first colour plate book in the Low Countries. The books together have 3 different engraved title pages, a portrait of Johannes Goedartius (Pictor Medioburgensis), a full-page copperplate, and 153 engraved plates on 125 leaves. "Some copies contain hand-coloured plates by the author-painter, who invited the buyer in his introduction to have his copy coloured."-Landwehr, which all the plates have.
